Al Davis has taken the play-calling duties from Interim Head Coach Tom Cable. In a related story, he did not mention who the knew offensive coordinator would be.
Alright Al, it's time. It's time for you to step into the booth and show all of these fools that you've still got it.
Who am I kidding, my team is screwed. Any bit of progress is deemed not enough and wholesale changes are made in the personnel and coaching staff before and after every single season. This does not breed championships. It breeds 2-14.
The point of my blog today is still to come. What I want to know is: When is it acceptable to jump ship from a team that has no hope of winning?
Before you start riding me, let me state that I am a long-time Pittsburgh Pirates, New York Knicks, and Oakland Raiders fan. You cannot question my tenacity in regards to my teams. They are all 3 really, really awful, but I still hang in there and am behind them for every game. Obviously, I belive that it is never ok to walk out on your team.
That's all for tonight folks. Good night.
