Gators Seal the National Title

With a win over Vandy, the Florida Gators have clinched Urban Meyer's second one-loss national title.

In other news, the Big 12 continues to fight for crumbs as Texas Tech dispatched Oklahoma State rather easily. How 'bout them Cowboys?

Saturday I made my first trip to Morgantown for a WVU home game in a few years. I could've picked a better game to pick. While getting nachos, Cincinnati scored a touchdown on the opening kickoff returned, then after that received 2 free field goals without gaining a first down.

You have to give the Bearcat defense credit, it reminded me of a matchup of the 85 Bears vs. the 08 Oakland Raiders for the majority of the game. Until the last 18 seconds. The new coaching staff has turned Pat White from one of the best quarterbacks in college football to a slightly above average quarterback. Alright, no more whining.

Today in the NFL I am interested in the Buffalo-New England game. It matches the upstart Patriots against the free-falling Buffalo Bills. Not really what expected, but in the AB (After Brady) Era, you never know what to expect in the NFL.

It is relieving going into Sunday with 20 fantasy points from Brady Quinn and not agonizing over how many picks Brett Favre is going to throw or how many times he is going to fumble.
